We strongly condemn DRC Army’s attack in IDP Camp in Lushagala Goma North Kivu
PRESS RELEASE: WE URGE PRESIDENT FELIX TSHISEKEDI TO STOP SACRIFICING THE POPULATION OF NORTH KIVU IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE USA, THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE AFRICAN UNION

The Collective of Young Solidarity Organizations of Congo Kinshasa, COJESKI North Kivu is very concerned by the FARDC Military operations against visibly the population and the Wazalendo that Kinshasa in complicity with the outside baptizes by the name of FDLR to satisfy the Western appetites.Leadership is first of all believing in the capacity of the population and directing this population towards solutions to which they aspire.
According to certain sources cited by Radio Okapi, the attacks of yesterday Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Mugunga/Goma against the Internally Displaced and Wazalendo would already be the third military operation and would fall within the framework of the Luanda/Angola agreements. We are extremely concerned by the Country Defense Policy that the Congolese Government is executing based on external impulses by positioning itself on the side of the International Community which imposes negotiations on us in Luanda, and also imposes on us a war against our brothers and Sisters instead of ATTACKING the M23/RDF and reestablishing state authority in the Eastern part.
The Congolese people voted massively for President Felix Tshisekedi to impose peace in North Kivu through war, these people today find themselves abandoned and without anyone to defend them. This was also the promise of Candidate Felix Tshisekedi who promised war against Rwanda. We remind the Congolese Government that this Peace imposed by the USA, UN, EU, and AU will bring nothing and that Peace resides in the population. Already people all possible solutions and ideas which will promote lasting peace in which people will themselves be involved.
We ask the Congolese Government to withdraw from the Luanda Accords and to urgently end attacks AGAINST its population, especially in Internally Displaced Persons Camps.
We remind the Congolese Government that the DRC has lasting internal solutions to the problems of the FDLR, Rwandan Refugees on Congolese soil and Refugees in Rwanda.
