We reject the opposition call for dialogue in the Democratic Republic of Congo
OUR REACTION TO THE PROPOSAL CALL FOR DIALOGUE BY THE LEADERS OF THE OPPOSITION IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Look at the situation of IDPs in Camps, and with this we are being told that we should sit a expensive hotels to discuss instead of taking urgent measures to finish this nonsense first
We were surprised to learn through various media about the very selfish proposal from two Opposition Leaders who are demanding for a dialogue with the Congolese Government with the aim of seeking solutions to the current security problem in the DRC.
Noting that security, infrastructure, good governance, the economy, as well as the development of human resources that we currently need depend more on Government Policy and strong Leadership, and unfortunately this has nothing to do with Dialogue,
We believe that the problems of the DRC and the solutions to each problem are well known and this no longer deserves a Dialogue but rather a strong Leadership which will drive change, and this strong leadership is the result of elections and recruitment.
We remind the two Leaders of the Opposition who seem to be distracted that the Opposition is a Government in waiting which must have an alternative program of Governance to submit to the population, so the priority would be to provide the Congolese population with what they think to do once in Power.
We observe that the idea of DIALOGUE is a simplistic way of integrating power which will not solve anything at all.
Thus we reject this strategy of wanting to divert our attention in efforts to demand Accountability from the Sacred Union for the Nation, and encourage the Opposition to present an alternative program.
We also ask the Government to define a clear program for the Defense of the Country.
