The Democratic Republic of Congo has the most ignored and forgotten humanitarian crisis in the world, more than 10 million people are victims of displacement. The current war of M23 backed by Rwanda has forced more than 7million people to leave their villages in order to live in IDP Camps.
We are currently mobilizing people at all levels to support IDPs and raise awareness about the situation of IDPs around Goma, we are pleased to observe that some social actors have now joined this struggle, the general mobilization in itself may be a solution towards the plight of these people.
Here are the people who have contributed towards the charity donation Concert on Sunday June 9th, 2024. This is not only a mere charity drive out of good will, it is more a move of solidarity towards IDPs and a desire to see this situation being solved once for all.
