Request for explanation on the assassination of a Rwandan Refugee in Goma DRC

While UNHCR is mandated to collaborate with the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo in order to ensure the protection of refugees, we seem to observe the lack of commitment from the parties which has continously exposed the lives of refugees.

In December 2023 just in distance of one week, two refugees were assassinated in Goma DRC, among them a refugee women and the second was an asylum seeker both from Rwanda.
